Bookcase Modo by Sangiacomo

This project encompasses the client's requirements for a large bookcase for the living room.

For this project, we decided to work with the greater depth of the shoulder of the Modo system by Sangiacomo. Alternating modules of different widths, we placed the emphasis in the centre on the module with TV panel, supported by a large drawer with a contrasting front.

The 2 cm thick fronts have been arranged in a seemingly random fashion to give movement to the linear layout of the library and create spaces with different heights. The dark elm structure is complemented by the closing elements in Rope Grey and Magnolia lacquers.

A number of specific requirements confirmed the choice of the Mode system for this project, in addition to the need for the TV panel, the lack of any other place inside the house for a small office. The front, with its flap system, becomes a practical and highly resistant support surface.

An essential element was certainly the display unit with Scrigno door and glass shelves, fully backlit with two LEDs on the sides.
